At the Community Foundation we currently have 7 students in the Prepa Pro system and 5 students in the UVEG system.
We have been promoting the completion of high school in our facilities for two years. In October we are about to graduate the first boy from the UVEG system, which began 20 months ago. We took on the task of working with the communities on the importance of completing their studies at this time we have 4 more students already taking the high school modules with which we want to continue motivating other people since there is no age limit to enter, the only requirement is to have completed high school and be responsible for completing the 28 modules completely. (which have a cost of $42 per module and a single registration of $345)
The process is to finish a module each month with the virtual company of an advisor, and if they complete it in a timely manner, they are given the opportunity to work on two modules and be able to finish in less time in less than two years. If they fail any subject, they retake it. until they approve it. You have two years to achieve it. (We send testimonials)
In 2022 we took the necessary steps to be able to provide our facilities and open an official high school of the Secretary of Public Education of Guanajuato, which consists of a hybrid system, that is: There is an in-person advisor twice a week, covering 12 hours with the students. and the rest of the week they work on their computer or cell phone. The objective is to continue with education and improve the quality of life since in the community there is no independent facility that offers this service in the morning, so students attend in the afternoon and run the risk of violence, our schedule is morning and the Foundation has decided to hire a private advisor, since we observed that the educational level is not the most optimal.
This system has been in operation for two years and has had anomalies, however, we have 7 very persevering students despite the administration process that this project faces.
We have decided to support the children with extra classes. In addition to the private advisor, we would like to offer English and computer classes and we thank you in advance for your unconditional support, as our mission is to continue working for the community and nearby communities.
