As we reach mid-year, we will be celebrating 40 new graduates between now and December – each of them ready to embark on new horizons in their professional lives. Yes, the 2024 graduations have begun! It fills us with immense emotion and pride to see how they have achieved their goals with hard work and dedication. This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support of our generous Sponsors, dedicated Mentors, committed EFL Tutors, and caring Psychologists. We are deeply grateful to the entire JA team for their tireless dedication and accompaniment on this journey towards social mobility. |
This month Fabián Yañez and Gustavo Jiménez graduated, both from Architecture, Gustavo’s mentor, Glen Rogers shares these inspiring words: |
“Last night, I attended the graduation of Gustavo Jimenez, my mentee through Jóvenes Adelante A.C. He graduated with a degree in architecture at University of Leon/San Miguel. I couldn’t be prouder to see him attain his dream! Thank you to this non-profit in San Miguel that provides grants and resources for higher education. Thank you! It’s been a pleasure to be a part of the Jovenes team. And I have certainly gained so much from this experience of getting to know Gustavo over these four years. Education is the key to a life well-lived- and the Jóvenes org. provides that to well-deserving students like Gustavo. Win-win for everyone!” |
Also one of our 2011 graduates, Xochitl Mendoza, who is now a beneficiary of our Master’s Program, shares photos of her graduation from the Master’s in Education, accompanied by her family and her tutor EFL Helen: |
While some are graduating, there is a new generation seeking to enter university, others are already studying but need support to complete their studies. |
We have at our door many future scholarship recipients who are on their way to a bright future, but need an extra push to reach their full potential. At this moment, we are in the final Family Interview stage of our 2024 Bachelor’s Scholarship selection process; at the same time, we are selecting, from our own graduates, scholarship recipients for our new Master’s Program. |
During these crucial interview stages, we not only evaluate academic performance and potential, but also consider determination, commitment to lifelong learning and how we can team up with the family, key elements that guarantee future success. In order for these talented and promising students to maximize their opportunities, they will need financial support. No one does it alone! |
We invite you to be part of this mission to empower the next generation, to consider sponsoring one of our future scholarship recipients. Your generosity will make a significant difference in their lives and in the future of our communities. |
