 Dear friends and collaborators, With immense gratitude, we share the achievements accomplished at Patronato Pro Niños during 2024. This year has been filled with growth, impact, and memorable moments, all made possible thanks to your invaluable support. Below, we present a summary of our main areas of care, highlighting the progress made in each.  Caring for the Health of Our Children In 2024, we conducted a total of 3,213 general medical consultations and provided 3,890 medical prescriptions, ensuring that children received essential diagnoses and treatments. Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to deliver timely, high-quality care, strengthening the health of the children in our community.  Promoting Healthy Smiles Dental health was a cornerstone of our efforts this year: • 9,961 dental consultations provided. • 21,716 dental treatments performed. • 6,423 dental supplies distributed. Through these efforts, we improved the quality of life for thousands of children, teaching them essential oral hygiene habits and addressing dental issues that could impact their long-term well-being.  Emotional Well-Being for Our ChildrenOur psychology program played a critical role in promoting emotional health: • 733 psychological consultations conducted. • 14 psychological workshops, benefiting 52 participants, covering topics like stress management, self-esteem, and family dynamics. This support was vital in helping children face emotional challenges and strengthening their mental health.  Connecting Families to Resources In 2024, our social work area provided 475 consultations and made 1,331 referrals to specialists and additional resources. This effort ensured that families received the assistance they needed to overcome adversities and access our services.  Bringing Health Services to Communities Our mobile units traveled 40,750 kilometers (25,320 miles) this year, reaching the most remote communities of San Miguel de Allende. Through this initiative, we brought essential medical and dental services to families who otherwise would not have access to care.   The “Heart to Heart” Charity Bazaar is a solidarity initiative where donated items are offered to the community. The funds raised directly support Patronato Pro Niños’ programs and services. Thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers, this project has been vital in maintaining our mission of improving the quality of life for children in San Miguel de Allende and surrounding communities. ➡ Learn more about Heart to Heart:  Our Historical Walking Tours offer participants the opportunity to explore the rich history of San Miguel de Allende. Donations from these tours directly benefit the children supported by our programs. ➡ Learn more about Historical Walking Tour   We celebrated this day with an event full of music, fun, and family activities. Thanks to the active participation of our community and sponsors, we raised essential funds to continue our mission. ➡ See event photos here  On November 7th, we hosted our iconic Gala Royale at the Club de Golf Malanquín. The evening featured a delicious dinner, live music, and a silent auction attended by many generous benefactors. Thank you for your generous contribution to our Children’s Day event. Your support brought joy and smiles to many children, making the celebration truly special.   We are deeply grateful to the kindergarten, teachers, parents, and children who lovingly prepared food hampers for the families supported by Patronato Pro Niños. Your kindness and solidarity have made a significant impact on our community.   We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible allies, whose generosity and commitment in 2024 have been instrumental in helping us provide essential health services to the children of San Miguel de Allende.   Every medical consultation, dental treatment, and psychological workshop we conduct is not just a number on a report—it represents children smiling without pain, families finding support during difficult times, and communities seeing a brighter future for their little ones.
